Agricultural and Extension Education for Sustainability Approach

The study analyzed the emerging land rights and extent of relationship between agricultural extension education soil conservation practices. A survey 376 household heads randomly sampled respondents was administered using a well-structured questionnaire. Results from correlation analysis revealed that "agricultural education" variables "mulching, zero tillage, use crop residues or refuse" positive, moderate in strength, statistically significant. However, "slash burn agriculture" negative, results linear probability model show coefficients "Agricultural Extension are significant at 1% level significance for all specifications except case where "organic fertilizer" is used as dependent variable. Specifically, indicate Agricultural increases farmers practising mulching, residues, tillage by 59.4, 16.1, 33.6 percentage points, respectively. Also, Education decreases slash agriculture about 16.2 points. least two conservations 25 while it three those 5.5 Based on results, we propose Sustainability approach. This approach consists knowledge, skills, motivation, awareness, concern, responsibility, action. Therefore, policies geared towards services should be highly prioritized.
